Credit cards, schmedit cards. We know what they are. We know what they do. And we’ve all seen the classic, run-of-the-mill credit card promos full of legalese. So how could Venmo stand out from the crowd? 

By not sounding like an old school bank, that’s how. Venmo was built for friends. 65 million and counting. So I developed copy that felt friendly, not bank-y for the launch of the Venmo Credit Card.

My mission? Help Venmo uphold its dominance in the market, increase accounts and brand loyalty, and generate new streams of revenue — all while developing and implementing a revamped, lively, human brand voice.
